We offer the following youth league sports/programs:
Spring Sports
Sign ups are taken during the month of February for Boy’s Baseball for boy’s ages 9-14 and Girl’s Fast-pitch Softball for girl’s ages 8-16. Instructional League for youth ages 6-8 and for T-Ball for youth ages 3-6. To register for these sports you need to stop by the Dunn Parks and Recreation Office to fill out a registration form and pay a registration fee.
Fall Sports
Sign ups are taken during the month of July for Soccer for youth ages 4-12, Cheerleading for girl’s ages 8-13 and Football for boy’s ages 8-13. To register for these sports you need to stop by the Dunn Parks and Recreation Office to fill out a registration form and pay a registration fee.
Winter Sports
Sign ups are taken during the month of November for Basketball for youth ages 5-13. To register for basketball you need to stop by the Dunn Parks and Recreation Office to fill out a registration form and pay a registration fee.
Other Activities and Programs
Summer Camps – Pre-registration begins during the last week of school for Summer Youth Camps. These are ½ day camps that run for 4 days. To pre-register you can call and have your child placed on the camp list. When it is determined that there are enough campers signed-up to hold the camp then you will need to stop by the Dunn Parks and Recreation Office to fill out a summer camp release form and pay a camp fee. The number and types of camps offered depends on the availability of instructors.
Examples of past camps offered are: tennis, cheerleading, volleyball, in-door/out-door soccer, boy’s basketball, girl’s basketball, baseball, fast-pitch softball, arts & crafts, fun & games.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE DATES ARE TENTATIVE AND MAY CHANGE AT ANYTIME.
Sign-up dates are listed in the Dunn Daily Record newspaper in the Sports Section and we also ask all Dunn Area Schools to make an announcement to the students at least once during the sign-up period. If you are listed in our email list you will also receive an email anytime we have any activity coming up.
We are also located on facebook as Dunn Recreation, and sign-ups are posted on there as well.
