  • Where are you located?

    Dunn Public Library is located at 110 E. Divine Street.

    From the East, Clinton or I-95, take NC Hwy 421 west into downtown Dunn. This is Exit 73 from the interstate and it becomes Cumberland Street. Continue to Wilson Avenue, turning left at First Federal Bank. Go one block and the library is on the right.

    From the West, Lillington or Buies Creek, continue straight on NC Hwy 421 into Dunn where this road becomes Cumberland Street. Cross the railroad tracks and continue to Wilson Avenue, turning right at First Federal Bank. Go one block and the library is on the right. For further directions, call (910) 892-2899.

    The library has a public fax. The number is 910-892-8385. It costs $2.00 per page to send including the cover sheet. The cost to receive a fax is $1.00 per page.
  • Can we return books when the library is closed?

    Yes, there is a bookdrop behind the library. Just follow the signs.
  • Do you have tax forms?

    We have tax returns 1040, 1040A and 1040EZ. IRS doesn't give us instruction booklets now. You may print them from irs.gov or photocopy from Publication 1132.

 
 

More About Dunn

Dunn was originally called "Lucknow" and was renamed in 1873

The city of Dunn was incorporated on February 12, 1887, at which time it was a logging town and a turpentine distilling center. The name honors Bennett Dunn, who supervised the construction of the railway line between Wilson and Fayetteville.
