Harnett County Bicycle, Pedestrian, and Greenway Plan
Harnett County announces a new Draft Bicycle, Pedestrian, and Greenway Plan available for review by the public. The draft plan focuses on bicycle, pedestrian, and greenway routes and trails, setting the stage for implementation of a County-wide multi-use trail system. These trails will link parks, schools, municipalities, cultural points of interest, and residential areas within Harnett County, and will be designed to connect to surrounding counties. The draft plan drew upon a large group of stakeholders for input throughout the process.
Join Harnett County on October 6th or 7th at 6-7 PM for an online presentation of the Draft Harnett County Bicycle, Pedestrian, and Greenway Plan.
Both sessions will cover the same material, featuring public input received to-date and a review of the draft plan recommendations. Viewers will be able to submit questions and comments and participate in live polling throughout the presentation. Please register in advance through the project website, which also has background info about the plan: https://www.harnettgreenwayplan.com/
