Police Department  PAL Culinary Arts/Horticulture Instructor - After-school Program[ List All

Assist with After-school Program Culinary Arts and Garden Program. Working with youth in horticulture in a greenhouse and raised plant beds, also helping youth learn how to cook in the PAL Kitchen. Must have clean record and Valid NC Drivers License and clean criminal background check. Must have working knowledge of horticulture/Culinary Arts emphasis on greenhouses and raised beds. Also working with PAL's STEM Program (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).

  • Minimum Requirements
    Must be able to work with youth kids ages 6-17 years old in Culinary Arts/Horticulture. Must have a working knowledge of running a kitchen, cooking for large groups of people, greenhouses and horticulture. $9.00 per hour. 6 hours per day, 5 days a week. 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant Funded. Grant position is currently funded until June 1, 2014.

  • Special Requirements
    Must possess a valid NC Driver License with no violations. Must have a clean background. Food Service certification through the Health department.

  • Starting Salary Range
    $9.00 per hour, 5 days a week, 6 hours a day. 21st CCLC Grant Funded from September 3, 2013 until June 1, 2014.
