The City of Dunn is seeking a qualified, energetic candidate to coordinate, supervise and administer athletic programs for the City’s Recreation Department. Must possess in depth knowledge of the principles and regulations of athletic and recreational activities; work involves assisting Maintenance staff with the care of park facilities; coordinating athletic programs and ordering & maintaining athletic equipment; work requires extensive public contact with private groups, civic organizations, businesses, and the general public in the promotion, development and maintenance of the Parks & Recreation programs. Work is performed under the supervision of the Parks & Recreation Director.

- Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in recreational administration or a related field & 3 to 5 years experience in municipal parks and recreational work; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities. Must possess a valid NC Driver License and be able to obtain CPR/First Aid and AED certification within 6 months.
- Starting Salary Range
Minimum hiring rate $34,233 or DOQ.
